Been thinking about art and inspiration for art lately. Remembering when I used to live and breath art, when I had this deep well of inspiration and people around me who also inspired me. Been thinking I'd like to do something. Like find a person who also wants inspiration for art again and wants to I guess compete? Not really compete ...just maybe have someone with the willingness to do some drawing or painting or whatever based on a theme, or subject matter and share it. Like...an art club? The way book clubs read the same book and then talk about it in a certain time frame. Only we decide on a subject matter or theme for a piece, set a time frame to complete it, then share it with eachother. For example we could choose the theme "Sealab 2021" or even something more broad, like Adult Swim characters or shows. And someone draws or paints Meatwad and Frylock, another draws or paints Space Ghost, another draws or paints Squishface. And we just share the art with each other. Obviously

Lordy...it's been a minute. Honestly, I have not been doing a lot of art lately. I have been doing more writing of poems for a mod for Stardew Valley. I do want to do more painting though. I keep thinking I will have time and then I don't. If I am not working, sleeping or playing tabletop RPGs I am trying to re-learn the songs I once knew on my guitar. I guess I am being pulled in a few directions artistically, I also do tie dye for a creative outlet on occasion too. It's been just a weird amalgamation of random creativity. I have a folder of a bunch of pictures for inspiration for painting/drawing but have yet to actually act in those things. But hey maybe this winter?
